This laboratory study is surely interesting but it does not meet the criteria identified by Surowiecki for distinguishing wise from irrational crowds (diversity of opinion, independence, decentralization, aggregation), especially "independence". Finally it is misleading and manipulative to title "Crowds are not wise": you should at least use "not always". That would be wise.
